This team should’ve started to turn roster over this year. Instead of trading picks away for bruan and nisky. Yes, and they’d get high fives coming back to the bench no matter what they do on the ice.

I wasnt a huge fan of Fillpula. I would have preferred someone with more offensive upside but he was definitely better than nothing. He did everyhing else on the ice pretty well. Even if Patrick was ready he'd be perfect for the 3rd line.

At the same time though Hextall was rumoured to be after Stastny as well so as far as C position is concerned he may have made an attempt to get him, failed and by then it was too late.

He wanted carte-blanche until HEXTALL felt he was ready to proceed. Not the welfare of:fans, staff and players.

Does that sound familiar? Because it's EXACTLY what the Sixers did.

But HE didn't want the process stigma, but guess what?

It caught up with him.
