Not sure if he even wants to come back or if the leafs would be an option for him but he would be a perfect fit for the playoffs.

Get him up to speed for the playoffs but I think he would be a warrior and type of guy the leafs miss in the playoffs.

Might be the only place where he'll be in the running to be a #1 goaltender.

Crawford at 3.5M is fine but you can't rely on him to stay healthy over a whole season... he'll need another good goaltender backing him up.
