While someone figures out traded retention to LTIR answer what about a Marky contract proposal.

5M AAV x 5 term with a 2yr movement clause triggering $15M payment in off season (on or about July 1). Middle load years 2-4.

So if that's NHL contract acceptable could provide expansion cover. Canucks protect Demko. But if Seattle take Marky they got to pay him $15M up front. Might deter them in Covid world.
