Watched a fair amount of Sabres games at the old Aud when I was a kid courtesy of my Grandparents season tickets. Still have a soft spot. Hope you guys get things turned around quickly and pound the Leafs regularly.

I am not a big fan of the way they operate. Risto I like a lot and watch them just to see him . Their short comings are their own doing.

Super tough deal to pull off because the competition for younger RHD league wide. You have to offer something they need and higher end if it's a prospect. That's why I say Demko.

Nobody said Risto is being moved for peanuts. But I will agree on the ROR trade, the owners screwed that up, didn't want to pay his 7.5mill bonus so basically tied the GM's hands on that trade. And Kane couldn't keep his hands to himself and got into some trouble with some women and Kim Pegula wanted him gone. The owners can't get out of there own way, have tied the GM's hands and really hurt the team in the process.
