NHL wants 82 game schedule. Only way this remotely works is if they bubble up and play a LOT of games per week.
- Aaron_85

I had heard that the NHL was ok with going with a shortened 60-65 game season if necessary

Just in case you think that it's smooth sailing towards a 2020-21 NHL season:

I saw it on Amazon when the Fiance was on Zoom. Simple and fun sci fi with a good enough look and premise. I miss films like that

I miss good movies.

We watched a couple of Netflix stinkers lately. The other night I told the better half that if we're gonna watch a movie, could it please be a good movie. I don't care if I'd seen it before.

I love cringe humour, so those Netflix movies (other than Roma/The Irishman and a few others) give me some level of laughter at least. Tall Girl was hilariously bad.

Netflix original movies with big name stars are just cringe though. No humour involved.

GF and I started watching Top Gear from Season 1 recently. Back in 2002-2003 they sure loved to talk about how only women and gays like driving tiny hatchbacks, it's quite astonishing these days.

That recent one with Charlize Theron was fine...definitely felt the lack of money coming through.

Ever re-watch The Simpsons? 1998-2003 is all gay and transexual jokes. Thems the early 2000's.

Still funny btw.

Yeah going on another teams thread and trolling after a tough loss and coming back on here and bragging about it like a petulant child is the epitome of class. Hysterical this morale high ground you stand on its the very definition of hypocrisy. I’m not upset at all I’m still cracking up after reading, “you called one of our top 50 posters a piece of sh!t”. Hysterical.

That must be some list

I conveniently don't watch any episodes after season 9, which ended in 1998.

Also Top Gear is also entertaining to watch... it's sort of like listening to a drunk uncle go on a rant at Thanksgiving. Hilarity mixed with facepalm cringeness and latent prejudice.

Not according to TSN.

Honestly, they need to just reduce the season games and get any type of gate revenue.

Meh, S10-15 have some top tier gems. Just not as consistent. The Party Posse is worth its weight in early 2000's gold.

If they start the season in January, I can't see them going a full 82 game season

I love the Wayne Train, but fellas, he’s gonna frustrate the hell out of you at this point. Not even a shadow of himself. He’ll be a healthy scratch more often than not. His edge is completely gone. His scoring ability is kaput. He’s not even all that old, he’s just got a ton of miles on his clock. Hard miles.

And this is coming from a guy where Simmonds is among my top 10 favorite Flyers since the millennium.

He’s done, man. D-O-N-E done

- Hesh_

The Leafs wouldnt be bringing him in to play in the top 6, maybe not even the top 9. He'd be a depth guy to provide grit, veteran presence, and some flexibility.

Seems like a good fit for that role at this point to me.

how the leafs could fit A Piet, while keeping the 4

need 2 dirt cheap 4th liners and move Freddy for a goalie that makes 3mil

Out AJ and Engvall.

not easy

RIP Dianna Rigg. I don’t think there was anyone on t.v. sexier and cooler than Emma Peel.

Sign Simmonds for $1M
Re-sign Spezza

Trade Andersen for picks
Trade Johnsson and Engvall for Georgiev.

The old guard?
Same with that recent one with the thor actor (helmsworth?), where he has to protect the kid.
Nice action, some great camera work. Entertaining

Instead of this, the adjustment id make to accomplish somethign similar would be to trade Kerfoot. Maybe sign Rodrigues for a low cap hit, keep Johnsson. Kerfoot is a crappy centermen anyhow.
