Was it a laughing emoticon? If so, you're right.. That is not trolling, that just means you think both Islanders fans are funny

Much better to pay 12 million on Jay Beagle, Tyler Myers, and SVEN BAERTSCHI

Always amazed if someone doesn't make 10 million or more cap hit people ignore it. Those crappy supporting pieces add up real fast.

I don't think that Simmonds is what the Leafs need right now. He certainly isnt going to improve the defensive ability of the forward corps.

I loved his play when he was with the Flyers, I'm just afraid (as I said in the last blog), that he's cooked now. Age and accumulated injuries, they are the bane of power forwards in the NHL.

- Doc_Sarcasm

“Honest to God, I couldn’t tell you what lies ahead for me,’’ Simmonds told The Athletic. “All I can say to you is that I’m actually, finally 100 percent healthy from my surgeries two years ago. I’ve been training like an animal.

“All I have in my mind is that I’m ready for this upcoming season whenever it does happen. I’m looking to make a huge impact wherever I go. Obviously I know I didn’t have the best of years last season. I’m looking to prove a lot of people wrong and show that I can still play at the level that people are accustomed to seeing me play at.’’

Proof that he will be back to 2016 form!

Simmonds is a 4th liner. No 4th liner will improve your defensive play. That's not the point.

Matt Martin is 8 years older than both.

Talk about reading too much into things LOL. Next year, Martin goes on the 4th line and Marner will get 90+ points.

Also, it’s easier to score playoff goals when you’re on a team that makes the playoffs.

Are you saying dropping a on a teams thread after a tough loss isn’t trolling? I can imagine how that would’ve been received on here after the Leafs didn’t even make the playoffs. Also, I’m still laughing at you and others on this thread calling into question another posters “class” when you did that and came back on here saying hey guys I just dropped this on the Islander thread look at me. Jeez forget about class be a man not a child. Funny and embarrassing all at once. Grow up.

Take a breathe bud. You are getting all riled up over nothing.

For the record - the trolls who show up here show up for pages and pages of trash. One emoticon is (frank)ing nothing. Tell him to (frank) off and move on like a normal person.
