if I'm Danault I'm thinking that's a pretty sweet deal, third line duties or not

Danault is always team-first on the ice, but has once said to the media that he's not interested in a 3rd line C role.

Domi never said anything in the media about his usage, but has been playing selfishly many, many times in his 2 seasons with the club, even costing a few games.

We'll keep Danault and trade Domi+ for scoring help and you will like it.

I won't hate it... I prefer Domi, I realize one has to go, I believe both could fetch a decent return, Habs will be better, more balanced once one is traded, either way, I think I will like the return

Might be better for MB to wait until the season starts to see how the kids (KK and Suzuki) transition to see who he’d rather trade between Danault and Domi? If they get rid of one too early it might be a step back for them? They had a good playoff.....doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll transition into regular season. I know it’s risky but it might be the best approach.....unless the return for one is a no brainer

package Domi for a big winger, that should not be that complicated. they have a ton of picks and plenty of cap space. centers coming at a premium they should be able to acquire a pretty good player.
