I don’t believe in taking a knee during the Anthem either Nite.
Every Player should take a knee after the Anthem and before the game to show support against racism. I think this would create more support for the cause from the whole fan base.
The hypocrisy of Multi millionaires not respecting the country that gave them the opportunity to make the millions they have is wrong.
Just my opinion of course and I guess yours as well.

As far as Lehner, I agree with what you said however all the blame isn’t on the agent. If Lehner truly wanted to stay on the Island he could have accepted the deal Lou offered. Then again in Chicago the negotiations weren’t fruitful either because The Hawks decided to trade him at the deadline. Seems to be a trend.

NHL Media site has a brief clip of #Isles AM skate in EDM today.

Among the seven skaters on the ice: Andrew Ladd. Almost certainly means he's a scratch tonight.

Not on the ice: Derick Brassard and Michael Dal Colle, both options to get back in the lineup.

Didn’t think you would see Ladd again tonight.

I’m not a huge fan of either but I would work either Kuhnackl or Brassard back into the line up. I’m kind of shocked Kuhnackl isn’t in the line up even I thought he was pretty good against the Panthers I assumed Trotz would’ve stuck with him in the line up. Brassard came through a couple times for us with big goals but he was also on the wrong end of more then a few.

I just don’t see what MDC brings to the line up and whatever it is is so minimal I don’t think it’s impactful. “The “he’s good defensively” line doesn’t do much for me especially with a team like the bolts who will absolutely skate circles around him. Having the last change can help trotz shelter has a bit but I don’t really see the point.

Every, single, player, out there was terrible on that play with Greene being the worst perpetrator with a terrible giveaway that started the whole sequence.

I’m thinking you’ll see Brassard for sure. I think the other one may be Leo only because of his PKing. MK does a good job on the PK as well, however he hasn’t played for a bit. But then again either did Ladd.

Trotz would be wise to sneak him onto that first line if he wants a shot at getting back in this series.

Started in the offensive zone with the Islanders ( Leo ) pressing the forecheck with the D changing. ( Greene and Pulock ) instead of laying back secure the tie and go into overtime.
After that it was a Weight, Cappy moment in our own zone with Greene’s bad clear and JGP and Ladd having their heads up their ass on where to be positionally.

We get that win you predicted tonight and it’s a series.

In all seriousness I’m not feeling Ross’s presence last game would have given us a different result so no to Ross this game either.

I don’t know why I did it but I just watched it again and the entire shift was a comedy of errors. Yeah they win and they’re literally back in. That’s all it takes one game at a time.

Was it coincidence that Tampa's game became more chippy with Ross in the pressbox?
I honestly don't know. Let's see what kind of shape Nelly is in, and if his play is affected. And let's see if Tampa targets him again.

No. I’ll never be a believer of this thought process. If we had two lines of vile thugs there may be something to it but Ross Johnston is not changing any NHL teams game plan. Tampa is doing what it takes to win the cup it took them five years to figure it out. Never has a team won the cup going through the rounds to get there cleanly. Tampa’s intensity level is high they want it. Those kind of plays are part of the process Ross (frank)ing Johnston wouldn’t have stopped it

Correct. The only thing he would have done is retaliated and given Tampa a PP which is definitely not needed.
That said when the line up Is released Ross will be in.😂

Having Tampa think about being chippy is exactly what we want because that’s not their game.
Honestly the Bolts kicked our asses and embarrassed us in game one and honestly don’t think they came into game 2 changing their strategy imho.
