The thing is, every team that could possibly look at a goalie has been rumored as a landing spot for Murray.
The Wild, Buffalo & Edmonton weren't spots Ive ever felt like me might land. If Toronto, Colorado & Calgary say they are out I'll be concerned.
I'm confident that JR has a deal he likes to send Murray to Toronto, so he will try to get more out of everyone else to beat the standing offer. Good sign if he feels he has to go after top 15 picks to beat it. |

In an 88 million dollar and rising cap world Brandon Tanev is a valid contract at 3.5 Million

Nah. No 4th line player is worth 3.5m |

Sounds like lehner is off the goalie market already. 5 years @ 5 mill per - pens4life-66
Is this fake news? Can not find it official anywhere. I do believe it will happen though. |

How good of a prospect is Lijegren for TOR? Is him for Murray a fair deal? Does TOR regard him too highly? Is he a nobody? - Rinosaur
He has all the tools to be a great top 4, but appears to lack the tool belt to put it all together. Might just end up being a bottom pairing darling like Julius Honka was in Dallas. |

He should be playing LW on the third line. |

It’s not on capfriendly until it’s definitely legit. David P of TFP had it and a few others. |

As much as I love the 4th line, I think he's better utilized on the third line. |

If JR trades Murray, can we blame him for acting too early since 4 teams are still playing? |

I would. He could miss out on the Murray Malkin and Letang for Vasy Stamkos and the rights to Bogosian deal. |

Please keep this is the realm of reality.
You'd need McDavid+ for Bogo's rights. |

Like you said with the flat cap, revenues down, I even think some of the big money teams are sweating a little. Could be a wild off-season. - NewfieStud
Big money teams are probably happy. They'll still spend to the cap and other teams like the Pens will be forced to shed salary. Gives them an advantage. |

People are just impatient with prospects. He just put up 30 points in 40 games in the ahl. For dy+3 d he just had similar production to brannstrom timmins and bean. And similar to Hronek the year before. Toronto would be wise to hang on to him unless they are absolutely blown away with an offer. - Feds91Stammer
This is very true. Everyone wants to get younger until you have to live with some growing pains and inexperience mistakes. |

If you take away beating a dead horse, what's RW going to write about? We'd be lucky to get a blog a week. |

Oleksiak and Comeau with 4 goals apiece so far in the playoffs. Oleksiak with a breakaway goal last night.
Crazy that we had the one guy who could ragdoll Wilson and Sully didn't want to play him (after we gave up a lot to get him). Then we get Oleksiak, who is a good 3LD, and we send him out to get beat up by Wilson. Then he's traded away shortly thereafter and he who shall not be named replaces him. Such a silly meandering path of nonsense. |
