It’s funny how josh has the biggest stat game of his career and people still female dog. Bills took their foot of the gas too in the 2nd half cuz the Jets in all honesty were never coming back. If the game was still close they would have had josh sneak in on 4th and goal with 2 minutes left too.
Yep he has to eliminate the fumbles and hit Brown in the end zone. Remember who also air mailed a wide open receiver like that once. Mahommes on one of his cute no look passes.
He hit on 72% of his passes and had two passes dropped that I remember. Seems the People are still sore that we didn’t draft the Josh they wanted. Some QBs have it, some don’t. Josh has it, as does Jackson while it appears baker, Darnold and Rosen don’t - turbo044
The problem really isn’t the way he played vs the jets. If Allen loses 2 fumbles vs a good team. That team can make you pay.
Then josh Allen notoriously misses wide open receivers down field. It happened last year all the time. So it’s frustrating. He needs to set his feet for 1 second and throws that.
Again. 2 fumbles Vs the jets. Who cares
2 fumbles Vs the chiefs. Mahomes torches you
Allen can definitely clean up the fumbles. The missing the wide open receivers is who he is becoming known as ..... as a Qb. Check twitter for what I mean |

Horrible take??? Dude, all I said was that this team can win with him. No one gave him a cape or a crown. He made plays when he needed to. He made a couple mistakes, so it can get better, though it was pretty good. It’s exciting. The Bills are legit. - Bufsaints8

100% he sees a huge opening, gets excited and rushes. That's fixable though. I thought for the most part he was incredibly patient, he had all day to throw and you saw him go to the 3rd or 4th read a bunch.

Yes he needs to clean that up, but throwing on the run to standing in the pocket are 2 different things. I think he missed Knox on almost the same throw in the first, he let them float out of his hand instead of putting a little zip on them, got to learn from that especially in windy conditions. |

I was a complete skeptic and he is already far better than I ever thought he would be. I loved how in control he was. Way more good than bad. He keeps getting a little bit better every game.

The Jets suck though
Our running game didn’t look great, or even passable really
Rest of the team looked good
But again... the Jets suck
Hopefully we beat up on Miami next week,
before the the schedule starts to toughen up

Except they don't suck at run defense. The Jets had one of the best run defenses in the NFL last year, and they likely will again this season. |

Jets offense sucks, they still have a top 5 run D though. |

Idk that we can say any of that yet
Ours RBs had like 5 carries in the 1st half
And in the 2nd half,
it was pretty predictable we’d run
That said...
We still need to be better running the ball, period |

I mean, we can definitely say the Jets had a top-5 run defense in the NFL last year because they did. It seems weird to assume their run defense this year is no longer elite without evidence (today was evidence it is still elite).
EDIT: The Bills also had more rush yards today than the Jets allowed on average last year. |

biggest issue coming into the season
he is inaccurate
I have always felt this was a non story, as he had crap wr's in wyoming, and looked bad when he played the "better" ncaa teams
his first season, we literally had the worst wr group in football
last season big steps and with the same improvement from year 2 to 3, we could expect what we saw yesterday |

if they can't run by week 3, I'd be a little worried
right now it was week 1, mixed with the entire preseason yesterday
bigger issue IMO is lack of LB depth |

Brady is cooked, he’s nothing more than a name at this point. Understandable given his age. The reality is he’s been average for the last two years now but masked by an elite defence and strong running game in New England.

It looks that way, but with no preseason and limited training camps, I have a feeling that you will see some weird results in September that aren't necessarily reflective of reality, similar to what we see in the NHL in October every year.

Which is completely fair.
I’m basing my opinion on Brady from what I’ve seen from him last year also.
Also tough moving to a new offence with new personnel.
Time will tell, it’s a long season. |

It was a performance worthy of A Tale of Two Cities....
Yes, absolutely had many good and fun moments, he did.
He also had some bad moments on plays we have seen him underperform on before.
He has quite a way to go.
It was good enough against a team that looks like a 2-14 or 3-13 performer this season.
The Jets pass defense is absolutley horrible.
Will it be good enough against team good enough to compete for a playoff spot?...we shall see. |

I am also curious to see them play a "good" team, but one game (against the Rams) does and will not tell the whole story for their season. There will be some on here, however, that will immediately bury the Bills if they lose (the typical knee-jerk reaction).

it would be nice to play a solid 60, not that I am complaining but we could have won by 35 |

If allen doesn't fumble at the end of the half and the Jets go into half time with a goose egg on the board they probably would have been mentally destroyed.. instead they let the jets march down the field and gain a little confidence |

Oh I agree, just think the Rams defense will show us the good and bad with are offense, will be a good test and show us what needs to be worked on. Jets showed are Oline needs to work on some things. |

Allen gets a B+.
He took at least 20 points off the board himself with the two missed throws and the 2 fumbles.
He played a good game, but if you are not playing the jets, that is the kind of play that gets you beat against good teams.
Buffalo should have won that game by 20+.
1-0 and on to Miami. |
