I’ve never been less optimistic about an offseason in my life.

Botterill wasn’t good, but at least we’d have Bjustead.

I have 0 faith any impact player is coming. And I’m pretty positive the worst impact player who plays insane minutes is staying.

If the adds are Erik Haula and someone like Blake Comeau, I’m absolutely checked out before it begins and I’ll get interested once Eichel is dealt

I want nothing to do with gio he went from elite to dumpster in 1 season the age wall hit fast

Todd Cordell, Flames blogger - He’s 36 now and, believe it or not, is beginning to show age. Don’t get me wrong; he is still a *very* effective player. We’re just finally seeing signs of father time catching up.

let the hyperboles fly, bro

I think we could really capitalize here and trade our 2nd for Bjewjazz

I'm guessing you didn't watch him at all last year or in the playoffs then lol..

If you want a guy making 6.7 for a Bottom pairing go for it .. lol

Time to move on. But it’s gonna take 3 players to get over Bjustead. I haven’t settled on one yet. But. Hjlmarsson. Dubinsky. Sobotka. Are my new trio. I am not sure I will have the same desire as I did for the bjustead. Lol

Decent bigness, always hurt, big contract with one year left, hasn't been good in a while. That's got potential bjustead replacement written all over it.

She had some pipes on her. Still get chills from when she sang the National Anthem for the Super Bowl.

How’s his bigness?

Edit: not great bigness. But could come with the hjlmarsson. Stepan might be my new bjustead. But it’d have to be stepan and the hammer... 2020.

That also isn’t a lean move but with the hammer coming you need to move 2 right d.

Kinda my thinking. It’s a Sabres move in the pegs era.

3 weeks away from the draft as of yesterday.

We are still holding 8th OA pick, hopefully it remains that way

As long as you still find an ok 2c. I’m fine with keeping 8. Although Tampa is still in it. Sooo Cerelli for 8+ is still a thought...

Well it still got your blood pumping, especially watching it on the Armed Forces Network, and what was going down.

Me too. Probably the best singing of the anthem I’ve ever heard.

The synopsis at the beginning of this clip sums it up very well.

There is zero chance Cirelli is going to happen.

Are you happy with that measure? Feels like comparing their production during their 2 year bridges is a better measure.

I think your AAV is about where this ends, but a little shorter term. Tough year to predict anything.

- Lunaion

It's the point at which contracts are being signed, so I think it works.

Agreed, with the flat cap, things will be different. Not sure to what extent yet. Hopefully keeps salaries low.

Someone has to go in TB. With NTCs and NMCs, they don't have a ton of options. It's him, Sergachev or Johnson.

Probably Johnson IMO.
