Shots 21-6 halfway through the game in favour of Vegas.
Sounds familiar.

Best team in the league
I wonder if Lefty is going to say they only reason Dallas is in this series is because of their goal tending. |

down 2-1 to Dallas now.
Using the Vancouver model of wearing them down.

Just listened to a lil clip of Burkie who said he expects Vancouver will buy out Sven bear cheese this offseason.

Does anyone have an answer if retention gets cap relief if team traded to later puts player on LTIR? (Ferland related) |

We just went out for dinner, sushi, so good, I’m not watching tonight. Watching true crime stories on Netflix.
I imagine if you’re getting outshot so bad you’re either losing really bad or your goaltending is keeping it close? |

I like Ray's analysis also - and I did listen to that podcast.
As I wrote in the last blog, there are so many variables at play.
I'm uncomfortable projecting Demko's future based on his performance in these playoffs, even if one does assume that he needs another year or two before he's ready to carry a full starter's load? Ferarro's confident that he'll get there.
I don't really buy what Benning suggested the other day, that they could re-sign Markstrom and then move a goalie at the trade deadline. If they're even close to the playoffs, they'll want to keep both.
If the Canucks don't sign Markstrom now, they'll basically lose him for nothing — or maybe for a low pick if they can't trade his rights. In that respect, they're no worse off if they end up losing him for nothing in the expansion draft — and if he's the player that Seattle selects, then everybody else is safe, too.
I'm starting to think that's the scenario that the Canucks want — particularly because it buys them another year before they have to make a long-term decision on Markstrom vs. Demko. The big question now is whether Markstrom will agree to a deal that doesn't protect him from the expansion draft.
And maybe that's OK? Fleury's move to Vegas was great for him — until 'the picture,' anyway... - Carol Schram
How about a middle loaded contract with 2yr movement clause penalty balloon payment to make Marky less attractive to expansion. Gives him pseudo NMC.

To be fair up until last summer Ray Ferraro was saying that the Canucks were in shambles and going nowhere...no plan in place, etc. He changed his tune pretty quick. - CoolerHeads

RIP to Toots.
One of the greats.
I remember sneaking in to a Toots and the Maytals show at Stanley Park back in the day.
One of those gigs you’ll never forget |
