They have some of the deepest pockets in the league and their owner, Geoff Molson makes a lot of his money selling beer. If there is any company that didn’t lose money during the lockdown, it was one that sells alcohol.
weird article lol... and I don't get how acquiring Edmundson is "enticing" Pietrangelo |

It hints that having friends is a top priority. Yeah, no offense, but if there's anyone selling Montreal to Pietrangelo, it's Weber. I doubt there's fire behind that smoke... It's just the West coast of the States. |

I doubt that. Pietrangelo is an RD that play top minutes (we already have Weber/Petry) that does it. He would be an awesome
signing but that’s way too much money on défense when our problem is offense.
Unless MB is planning on trading Petry but I doubt that since he will probably have already is puzzle settle before draft day |

very unlikely like you say, but that would make sense.
get a younger D (3 years younger I think), and assets for Petry.

Problem is you have to trade Petry before UFA day. But you can’t risk trading Petry while Pietrangelo goes somewhere else.
It just doesn’t make sense neither way. Unless Habs acquire rights to Pietrangelo but that won’t happen |

they could sign Pietangelo on UFA day and trade Petry later on, no problem.
