Guess we’ll see but the Habs brass did well signing Chiarot last year and if they see something in Edmundson, im willing to give him a shot (but not fir crazy money though)

that's the problem with MB, he signs tons of 4th liners and now he's doing the same with dmen. that's not how you build a winning team.

If Romanov pans out, he’ll be on the 2nd pairing soon enough... but yeah i get what u are saying about paying too much for a d who will end up on 3rd pairing but i guess it’s insurance in case Romanov does develop fast enough

Right now, i can’t see how Bergevin could let go of Petry. He’s been so important in the last few years for the Habs, he steps up when Weber runs out of gas or is injured, he’ll want to extend him and Petry is open to the idea.
