Hahahahababa this is so sad
Have you considered that tampas speed and talent have the isles off their game because of the things they can do? The isles hit the piss out of them, its not who wants it more because all these guys are top competitors. Tampa can make plays at top speed because they have skill - Upstate_isles
No it’s not sad man don’t worry you’ll be ok. I only have been saying that the entire series but with that said we watched a little, wee, whimper, today from our team. If you think that was purely because of Tampa’s talent then cool we’ll agree to disagree. I for one think it was a combination of the two. |

I know John. I'm not sure he can be moved or you just rotate him with Otto? You just cannot count on Casey playing a full season anymore. - ses111
That’s the unfortunate reality for players like him and Martin. Don’t get all nostalgic and start signing players because of what they’ve bought to the team through the years have to sign them for what they’ll bring down the road. Have to start respecting the older players that can’t hang and brining in the new blood like um... Tampa for example. |

You cannot get nostalgic and especially not with 4th line players. I know Lou and Barry love vets but they have to do the right things this offseason. Ross really should get a full season on the 4th line. Leo cannot be in the lineup every game. Bellows needs a real look. |

Well look at it this way. If they start signing the martins, brassards, Casey next year all of our younger players are literally gone so no. They won’t be signed. With that said Martin deserves respect. He was awesome in the playoffs guy was a soldier. Give him another job within the club and move on. |

I've said for the longest time Martin should work for the Isles. I really hope he does not sign with the Rangers. Rather not see Martin against Ross. |

The reality is they can’t sign Martin. They have 14 million to spread out between Barzal, Pulloch and Toews. Unless they get one of them to take a bridge deal. Unless they trade away some players. Have about 6 forwards signed for a while for 5 mil plus. The other six forwards are gonna have to be young guys because that’s all they can afford. |

OK. You were talking about him as if he was gone already, so I wasn't sure. |

Gotcha. With Casey's injuries he pretty much is though. No way can the Isles re-sign him. Isles are going to have to go with a cheaper 4th line like many team do. |

If he signs for more than 1 Smill per year I couldn't care less who he signs with as long as it's not the Isles. |

Ironically, Martin has been far more valuable these playoffs than Eberle.........who makes more than twice as much. |

If Martin signs with the Rangers you wish him the best besides when he’s playing us. He made a pus for himself in the playoffs but he’s a player for a group of young guys that aren’t there yet. Perfect fit for the Rangers really. |

Not sure he’s ready to retire. He’s been fantastic in PO’s. |
