Nate t. I think they may retain. League minimum. Will be team guy for chance to win and play the 13 th forward role. Won’t have to actually sign him right away. Pk descent speed. Would rather keep pitlick out of the two. But could see them wanting the help down the middle more and keep wing spots open for the kids.

He seemed very positive compared to the usual answers you hear. And he mentioned several times that he hadn't gone through the exit interviews yet so he doesn't have enough info to expand on.

Well he's certain that Sam won't be playing with the Flyers in the short term. Past that is just speculation. Kid could pull through.

You want to give a young player a chance to play and make the team. However that doesn't always happen. You always need a veteran or two to fall back on. Another issue that is going to affect things is what is going to happen with the AHL. If they don't play than that could factor in also.
