Most likely the voting is being influenced by LA, Ottawa, Detroit or Montreal fans hoping to somehow catch lightening in a bottle. Ranger fans would be fools to trade this blue chip prospect. - spatso
Im just hoping him being a born and bred French Canadian doesnt affect him playing on Broadway. |

He is at 87%, pretty much where I expected. The three other choices have a combined 13%, which is reasonable. |

Would fans of those other franchises make that trade for assets?
I think not. |

Not going to lie, never would have guessed that coming into the playoffs |

I didn't expect 100%. Was figuring around 90%, so a bit lower than expectations. |

Me either. Tampa and Colorado was my pick, when the Avs went out I picked Vegas.
What do I know? (frank)ing Zucc should be there. |

Nah, we would have done the same thing if it was us. |

Same, I really thought Vegas would be in the SCF. |

Only reason to believe it was that it would hurt the Rangers a bit since we have their 3rd rounder.
They haven't really looked that great but they're winning which is all that counts. |

LA Kings are devastated after Lafreniere was selected. One Kings fan already purchased a Lafreniere jersey during the very confusing draft lottery. So with sad faces, the Kings select Byfield. They don't even smile.
Years from now, all agree that Byfield is the better hockey player.
Thanks, Kooleus. |

The only way you don’t roll the dice with LaFreniere is if Ottawa is foolish enough to offer you both 3rd and 5th, and I don’t see that happening. I think the Sens are happy campers with how this draft is panning out. They almost can’t lose.
It’s obvious you have to at least take a shot on Lafreniere. Byfield might be better! Kooleus could be right. But we don’t know, so go with the statistical probability.
Oh, and “Thanks, Kooleus” |

I dont think the 3rd and 5th is enough
yeah, at 3 the Rangers would either get Byfield or Stützle which is nice, but who they would get at 5th isn't worth it
5th overall in a very good draft last this is nice but it's hardly incentive to give up the player clearly head and shoulders above everyone else at this point

I have Ottawa's pick and information. Will post the brief LA pick information in a new blog shortly. Might post LA and Ottawa together. |
