If you could find a taker for this oft injured overpaid cull trade him in a heartbeat |

He should be a cap casualty. Trade him and reload the pick/prospect pool |

If Tampa goes on to take the cup, you can sure bet that the org will explore a trade for him. In this flat cap world the next couple of years, (wouldn't be surprised at all if it goes down a few mill if COVID keeps people away from the stands) you have a chance to shed 7.5 mill, get a return of prospects and picks and remain very competitive for the long haul you'd be stupid not too at least inquire about it! You can use that cap space to fine tune during the trade deadline. Tampa would be in a very envious position. |

Sure, we can ignore the Goodrow-Gourde-Coleman line that totally was not involved in the comeback last game that changed the momentum of the entire game in general.
Also, let's ignore the impact they had against Columbus, Boston, and NYI in general (and at specific moments) as well.
As for the numbers (especially regarding their third line):

Yeah, this line has been phenomenal throughout the playoffs. |

If TB could trade Stamkos they would get a great return in draft choices and prospects for the future as well as opening up cap space to sign Cirelli and Sevch. |

Gonna Troll, or do you have a solution? Tampa is stacked without Stammers in the lineup. Why not trade him for some high end entry level contracts? How else do you propose this team remains intact?

I don't think anyone on any roster should be "untouchable".
A GM should listen to any reasonable offers for any player. That doesn't mean you have to feel any pressure to acquire somebody new or get rid of somebody, but it does mean that if an offer comes along is worth taking, you take it - if it makes the team better.
Stamkos makes the Lightning better. Can they win a Cup without him? I don't know, maybe or maybe not. He would also make almost any other team better. But I wouldn't take a deal on him just to shed cap or make a parallel move. It would have to be something that makes the team noticeably better without Stamkos than with him. That is a tall order.
He is approaching the wrong end of the aging curve soon. His value will decline in future seasons. It's something that a good GM should consider.
Personally, I like the guy and want him to win a Cup with Tampa. Afterwards, if he feels like it, he can go play out his twilight years in his hometown of Toronto as a 3/4th line PP specialist. |

Point out tonight. - Michael_Stuart
At least we’re not missing Killorn too this time around. Hopefully they can still close the series tonight. |

And that right there is why you always play the pass on a 2 on 1. Hopefully Point is good for game 6. |

What’s the deal with Point? Did he re-aggravate his injury or did they just hold him out to get healthier? |

I assume a combination of both and with a 3-1 lead in the series I’m sure they wanted to give him a game with the cushion they had. Have a feeling he’ll be out there tomorrow to try and close this out unless it’s something severe they don’t want this going to seven games. |
