Nylander and 50% salary retained for Loui Eriksson?

Add Bracco and you have a deal.

You’re gonna be disappointed.

Idk why you guys expect me to fold..

Everything I’ve ever said about Nylander has turned out to be true.

Don’t know why you fellers are even talking about trading Nylander. Dubas said he’s not trading him.

Good plan, trade Marner.
He's just as one dimensional as Willy but he doesn't score.

4th best forward, he's the odd man out.

Dubas said he wasn't trading him right away, he never said he'd never trade him.

He traded his BFF Kapanen, Nylander shouldn't be untouchable by any means.

Robertson is a nice surprise. Playing with house money there. So package him with one of those tool bags like Dermott or Holl and get the D you need.

1000% false. Marner is the only top forward who kills penalties and by far the best playmaker on the team and one of the best in the entire NHL when he's at his best. Marner is too young and too good to trade right now.

They aren't even close to the same level. Robertson is still terribly small, weak and can't skate for poop.

They definitely have to trade Nylander to fix the D but Robertson isn't filling his shoes any time soon.

Ask Tavares who forgot how to hit an open net.

Ask Tavares and Matthews who made the spinning pass to win that game in OT.

Because they have a terrible powerplay, how many did Boston score last year.

If Marner got his normal points per game like Nylander did they win that series.

Or because the Leafs PK did it's job. You only like to blame but you won't give credit.

Marner, like Matthews, is 23 years old. Imagine being a Leafs fan so desperate for elite level talent and giving up on them at 23. It's as if people have been a Leafs fan for 10 minutes and haven't learn their lesson yet what happens when you start screaming to trade 23 year olds because they didn't deliver INSTANT gratification.

So whats the difference giving up on Marner or Nylander. I think trading Marner would help the team much more, in trade return and cap. That's not giving up on him.

They both had 4 points each, what are you talking about?

Tavares had 3 points.

They all underachieved but they're all also very young. The only one that should be getting serious heat is Tavares. At his age and at this point in his career, he's been a playoff disappointment two years in a row.

It's understandable that young players will struggle but at 28-30, Tavares should be a lot better when it matters most.

You had a chance until Muzzin went down imo. Then the D got exposed and the big boys looked like they gave up.
67 year old Jason (frank)ing Spezza had to fight to get the smallest sputter of life out of the team. That’s a problem.
Just my toonie.

Because Marner has a way higher ceiling. It is absolutely is giving up on him.

Nylander + Johnsson / Kerfoot gives them the same cap space and enough trade value to get the job done.

Don't trade the best players with the highest ceilings. Trade the 4th best forward instead.
