I think the biggest difference between Dallas and Toronto is that Jim Nill is an experienced GM who understands the sport...whereas Kyle Dumbas spends his time reading Tanner articles about Jfresh cards, and sipping chai lattes while watching TikTok videos. |

Marincin and Gauthier will be back. It doesn't make sense, so it'll happen. |

And hiring women. That really triggered you, too. |

Leafs should keep Gauthier over Spezza for sure |

Wrong again.
It was the nonsense that a women hire was pushed as a diversity hire. She was simply the best person available for the job. |

Beta. I bet you also think women should be allowed to work and for the Leafs if they’re deemed qualified. |

I don't think you can look at the Stars' lineup and say that where they are right now is unlikely. Yes, I am surprised at how well Khudobin is playing, but I am equally surprised that Ben Bishop is not the guy playing this well...so not surprised they are getting good goal tending (if you get my drift).
The Stars have no prima-donna "it's all about me" players, whereas the Leafs have two that are blatantly obvious and probably three or four more. I mean...they ran Babcock out of town because they couldn't fall in line and put the team first. That says a lot to me right there. (I'd bet that Tavares loved Babcock and internally thinks that the coach was the guy that should have stayed...not certain players)

Matthews and Marner should strive to be more like Radulov and Seguin. |

Ya...Seguin used to have this reputation.
It's almost as if young players need time to mature before having significant success.

He stayed because they won. Respected him as a head coach. But yes the players hated him. |

the stars are getting great goaltending.
that's it.
That's literally it. They're an okay team getting some puck luck with a goalie standing on his head. |
