I don't think you can look at the Stars' lineup and say that where they are right now is unlikely. Yes, I am surprised at how well Khudobin is playing, but I am equally surprised that Ben Bishop is not the guy playing this well...so not surprised they are getting good goal tending (if you get my drift).
The Stars have no prima-donna "it's all about me" players, whereas the Leafs have two that are blatantly obvious and probably three or four more. I mean...they ran Babcock out of town because they couldn't fall in line and put the team first. That says a lot to me right there. (I'd bet that Tavares loved Babcock and internally thinks that the coach was the guy that should have stayed...not certain players) - JLO961
It’s amazing what great human beings Seguin and Radulov have become ow that their team is winning. Is it possible that they’re the same bumholes they’ve always been on a team that is winning right now?

Incredible what post season success does to a player's reputation.

Scotty Bowman was a manipulative wiener. Scotty Bowman was an effective, manipulative wiener. - Canada Cup
Bowman was a master. He'd push buttons and most of the time it worked. He'd leave Yzerman alone knowing he was self motivated but he'd constantly be on Shanny's ass. He knew Shanny had to be pissed off to be effective. Otherwise he'd float and be invisible. Which he pretty much was after Bowman retired after the 2002 Cup win.
Copying from last thread, to much comedic value to leave in dead space:
Speaking of offseason doldrums, read his latest article redoing leaf drafts from 2005-2017.
Talk about barfing in your (frank)ing mouth.
2011 for example, what we drafted VS what we could have had at those picks?

It's like that every single year. I think the best year they had, 3 of the picks weren't redo's.
Why the (frank) do we cheer for this team... - joel878
Imagine not including pick #58 in that draft everyone should throw up in their mouth a little at that one.

There were never any issues with Radulov's character. - MaximusAurelius
Radulov broke his contract with the Predators to go back to Russia for four years.
He was suspended by the Predators in the middle of the 2nd round of the 2012 playoffs because he was found at a bar at 5 in the morning the night before a game.
