Ekblad I think would be a great fit with QH. Boeser isn't gonna get him straight up though.
I imagine the Panthers are going to want to shed some money in the deal which we can't really do without sending them LE.
I have no idea what a trade like that looks like but I would assume it starts with Boeser and JV. |

Out of curiosity how much do you guys think Florida would hold on to in a Bobrovsky trade. That's a huge contract for a team looking to shed money.
Also, what would be your acceptable point of taking him in a trade?
https://www.capfriendly.c.../players/sergei-bobrovsky
Here are his contract details. I'm thinking he might waive to go to Vancouver, keep a home in Florida.
He's 32( in 3 days), basically has 4 seasons remaining until you can move him again. In 4 seasons he has a 16 team no trade list.

I hope they trade Loui Eriksson a first and a second for Ristolainen just to see people cry for years.

What are the odds of that happening here??

Reminds me of the Willie Mitchell situation where we just can't win with this one. If Tanev signs here he'll probably be injured half the time and if we let him walk he'll probably win two cups with a different club. I'm thinking the risk is just too high on his injuries time to let him walk like Mitchell. |

7400 yard par 70 and the greens are running 13 on the stimp meter (speed meter for non golfers). |

If you can get him for a good number I think he’d be an excellent third pairing right side defenseman. Still got to get a top four right shot guy though. |

"Brock Boeser is a great player. Brock Boeser is the kind of player the #Canucks need more of, not one deemed expendable. I don't think the Canucks will make a Boeser deal, I don't think they're looking to make a Boeser deal, and they shouldn't be"

“A name to look out for is Columbus RFA Josh Anderson. Both sides are working towards a deal but it could get complicated. If things do not work there will be many teams inquiring. I’m told the #Bruins are at the top of that list with many others waiting to see.”
Love for Benning to go and get this guy!! |

I do not see this Carol. easy to jump on this idea though as I am sure 90 percent of the local media did to. as much as people are claiming Dumba is what Canucks need, the Wild need a goalie and a centre. So maybe Demko to Wild as Gurien is shaking the tree with his moves this week. |

I don't think Benning has even asked about Boeser for Dumba but we will drive it home until one of them are traded. Minny needs a 2C not a homeboy.
Really mixed feelings on Tanev. Like you said depends on term and cost. I would look at all options and all trades.

Michael Russo on TSN 1040 said that as much as the Wild fans may love to have Boeser, the Wild want a centre in return for Matt Dumba as they already have a lot of wingers. #Canucks
Names the Flames and Lightning as more likely landing spots for Dumba. |
