True, and I never saw a guy mismanaged so much. They had him centre, wing, centre, wing...now 1st line, 3rd line, back up, back down. His confidence was shot. They should have left him at centre the whole time and developed him. Instead, the poor guy couldn't get use to ANY role, because it kept changing over and over...

My 79 year old dad in Tampa, with 10 stents and chronic COPD called me yesterday to tell me he has been sick for 6 days, and he tested positive for Covid. Now my 83-year old stepmom has bad flu and cold symptoms also, so she no doubt has it too.

He thinks they got it from the last Goldwing club get together where nobody was paying attention to social distancing and lots of people were drunk.

He has been an idiot about this all along. I'm just hoping he doesn't pay for his stupidity with his life.

Yeah, I agree.. Marner's loyalties are tied to money.. That's probably why the report of the CBJ offer sheet became public knowledge.

I agree. If his #1 priority was truly playing for his hometown team in Toronto, that kind of slimey agent game should have never have had to been played. The Marner camps agenda was $$$.

Mostly the reason why if push came to shove, I'm fine seeing Marner traded. (frank) him, because he was fine with eventually being traded too when he signed that deal.
