Ugh Nelson had a short handed breakaway but he was good this post season - Upstate_isles
Nelly had a great post season. He chewed up 15 - 20 seconds of PK time on that steal and breakaway, so I can't complain. |

Yes indeed. Appeared to thrive off the pressure. - Wildschwein
Crazy how calm he was. Goalie have to be a bit goofy. |

Yes.
Ok so now Lou needs to start his shat signings and trades and get us to the cup final next year. - nyisles7

Yes gotta think Leddy is on his way out. Unless Lou does some magic. He help The Leafs dump salary when he first got there so who knows. - nyisles7
Are we getting close to the expansion draft? Is that at the end of next season? |

Would be shocked if it's not Leddy. Leddy has good value. |

Breakaway typically are won by the goalie. Unreal as it might seem. |

Of course! Goalies typically win the shoot-outs, and breakaways usually are tougher on the shooter, because they have to worry about backcheckers. |

Martin was excellent. Considering he had a mediocre regular season, it was quite a pleasant surprise. |

He was incredible during these playoffs. I wish he didn't telegraph that Breakaway the way he did. It was clear as he came in that Vasilevskiy was strongly favoring the short-side but it's obviously a lot easier to see that in the comfort of one's home on TV. There's a host of players that made individual errors that could have resulted in better fortunes but that's how games go. Largely I'm proud that this team took them to overtime and had a legit shot to win it and take it to a game 7. Like all of you, Im bummed, but imagine if someone told you prior to this season we would take it to OT in game six of the ECF this year. Onward and upward |

Would you bring Martin back? At what salary and term? |

Casey detached retina, pelech broken wrist - Upstate_isles
I think we did fine without Pelech tonight and can honestly say I don't think his absence played into our fortunes. Cizakas tends to be such a valuable part our transition game. That one hurt IMO, despite his sub par performance through the playoffs. |

Did he get hit by the puck in the eye? I remember Barzal took a stick near the eye, but don't remember Casey's injury. |
