Well, I did actually.
I will personally make a large amount of money (well in the five figures) if Trump wins (through stock market options). I will lose a far more modest amount if he doesn't.
In 2016 market trends suggested he would win. But my wife did not let me bet.
I am hoping for the sake of my country that I don't make that money, but at the same time, will not say no to personal gains if they occur. |

You have a very misguided notion of how educated folk talk.
Perhaps you mean well-mannered or politically correct.
The terms idiot, imbecile, moron and retarded/retard are all clinical terms referring to specific IQ deficiencies. That is the origin of those pejoratives.
Idiot by the way is by far the worst, and yet it has strangely become the least politically incorrect. - PT21 FYI Retard was never a clinical designation. Except when referring to Rocky's Adrian. The proper word is retardate. Both retarded and retardate are no longer used. And that's a good thing IMHO.

I've watched almost every playoff series, I didn't see any team turn the puck over in their own zone like the Flyers did against the Islanders. Unforced, rushed, panic turnovers. Plenty of time and space to make a responsible high percentage, safe play. Sorry, I'm not just willing to say, well they are young players without much playoff experience. Hell, if I was a coach of a squirt team and saw kids doing that I'd jump off the roof. - PLindbergh31
With all due respect, you didn't answer the question which was what do you think they can do?

It's incredible. Not just the
1. Misremembrance, but also
2. the fact that the resident retard here posted the same thing a few days ago, and I posted a response I am sure you read, which was the link to my actual statement, and which I will post yet again, for your benefit (3rd time in 7 days this link is being referred to).
https://www.hockeybuzz.co...?thread_id=167951&page=19
"I had a rollicking time here last few months, and will surely be peeking in and posting ever now and then, like I used to before the pandemic."
3. The low utility of time that actually makes a post like yours worthwhile, about who said what when and how they are contradicting it etc. and which will surely lead to further endless discussion and about who was correct and what "ever now and then" qualifies as.
Sigh. - PT21
Perhaps the frequency of you having to answer the question has to do with the fact that you've never left Hockeybuzz. Even though you claimed that you would.
Here is your statement
" Its simply that now since the team is done, the excitement of the buzz is unlikely to bring me here."
Yet you've been here pretty much every day since. It's no different than your claim that you're going to ignore me.
You claiming you're laving HB was just narcissism and attention seeking behavior.

I think the fit could be there. He’s 37 and Id like to assume/think winning a Cup at this point in his career could outweigh financial demands. I’m sure there will be contenders who try to sign him cheap like BOS, TAM, STL though. - arichardson22
I didn't realize he's that old. Might have to pass on him. I don't think the Flyers are quite there yet to get him that ring. |

I will not argue this with you, because we will simply talk/yell past each other and the gap is too large.
And I know I am being obnoxious but I don't mean to be. I really mean to be just honest: I have a lot of faith in guys like you making money for other people at your own expense, and I believe there is at most 20 odd years of this happening, so in that time well, why not accept the extravagant gift?

Just a thought. Bc we have fletch now. If a vet center is needed the other day we all discussed why Thompson would be retained. Anyone think there is an outside chance fletch brings koivu in? - Peter Richards
Without knowing what his contract looks like at all I wouldn’t hate it. At a fair price of course |

I think this is lacking recognition of when a player is cooked.

If we can afford him, would you take a shot on Koivu since MIN won’t resign him? With the uncertainty of Nolan Patrick, could Koivu be a 3C for us? I only bring this up with Fletcher’s past connection to him when he was MIN’s GM. - arichardson22
I didn’t see this but thought the same. With his age I could see a one year one mil type deal to maybe have one last run. Fletch is familiar and may reach out first day of free agency. |

If Fletch reaches out on first day of free agency, I will have lost faith.

Well if he doesn’t reach out to players he is interested in he wouldn’t be doing his job. |

I'm looking at Thompson as a depth forward and a fall back player if one of the young players can't seize a spot. I don't know if Koivu would be willing to sign for that role or as a 4th line center.

I just think they will sign a vet center for some reason. Not too many out there in the price range we have unless there is a trade.
Koivu Ennis Thompson grant. Types of centers in the price range. Don’t even know if they will. But history.... |

Doesn’t matter what you’re looking for. Thompson wasn’t played on your dream scenario. He was used as 3rd line player and would be used that way again. |

I think it’s great that a blowhard like you needs a blog site to feel important. Knowing everything about hockey, only your opinion counts, etc. I come on here just to read the posts you make.
But for the life of me don’t lie about a female actually spending time, hell minutes with you. Blow up dolls don’t count |
