With the CHL a bit out and the NHL/AHL just as far it makes no sense unless injured or dealing with a family issue/covid concerns. Wonder whats up.

Last I saw, the details were unknown and the GM of Rogle said he had no further comment than "he won't be playing for us tonight". Maybe more has come out, but it's hardly rare for a 20-year old to not be comfortable moving across the world to ply his trade in a foreign land. Maybe it was mutual, maybe he didn't adapt well enough to the big ice, we'll see.
