Are you still down on him - GERBE!!!75PTS
He's very slowly growing on me, but we have such a depressing lack of skill, I'd almost assuredly take one of this draft's much stronger scorers.
I know what Lundell projects to be, and I appreciates it. I mean, if he's the next Cirelli, then I'd sign up for that. But what if he's the next Lawson Crouse? I don't know. That's probably a poopty comparison. |

Evolving Hockey's contract prediction for Craig Smith is 3 years @ $4.4M per.
They have Fast at 3 years and $3M per. - kingcong39
3x4 for Smith is something I could live with.

That’s the risk with every prospect.
Like Holtz could be the next Pasternak or he might be the next Andrei Kostitsyn |

It really all depends on who fall's to me, I am high on this kid because of what and how he's played at such a young age playing against Men. |

The Sabres walk out of the draft with one of the forwards I’m happy.
Maybe I’m wrong and Holtz ends up being better then Lundell.
I’d be happy with any of the forwards available this year though we are getting a good player. |

Exactly, it really just depends on how everything falls, but in the big picture, somebody that can help us is gonna be there. |

These are scenarios that he's heard have been floated inside the organization. Make of that what you will”

Anyone of those would just be great. Think I would love them to take Askarov. Goalies are so unpredictable. |

Rumours of a stimulus being agreed to next week.
If that’s true then stock markets are going to explode to all time highs in the short term.
Tech stocks usually lead the way so I’d expect the big boys to rally here after a months worth of consolidation.
I’d also expect the bloodbath in commodities specifically gold and silver to end and for the commodities to start the next leg up in their respective bull markets as well.
It won’t be hard to pick winners IF they agree to the stimulus next week.
In the instance that they don’t agree to the stimulus, id expect more choppiness of the markets, or even further decline into the election. |

I’m interested in $hzu because it was around $23 and now down to approx $16. Worth buying?
K92 dropped $1 per share since I bought. $vxrt is down and I’m tempted to put some $ into it. |

It depends on your time horizon.
There is always risk of a market crash coming within the current economic conditions.
I’m bullish on commodities though.
Physical silver is going to a minimum of $50 an ounce by the end of the next year and I’d bet my house on it, oh wait I’m already doing so
Silver and gold are going to be the best performing assets this decade.
If you’re investing short term though it’s anyone’s guess |

Kinda hard for Pegs to say yes or no, that's a chance you have to take, especially if no stimulus is signed. |

I've had a feeling the Fed was juicing the market and read this this week. If the market is fake, shouldn't we worry about a crash?

No one really understood why stocks are at record highs when economy is at a record low. But now we know.
Thank the Federal Reserve Munchin buying of TRILLIONS of securities to help the wealthy and pump up the stock market.
In June 2020, he Fed began purchasing individual corporate bonds through its Secondary Market Corporate Credit Facility, a lending facility backed by CARES Act funds.ii Since June, the Fed has purchased corporate bonds issued by approximately 500 large companies.
The Secondary Market Corporate Credit Facility lacks taxpayer and worker protection included in other programs funded by the CARES Act. In particular, the facility imposes no conditions requiring companies to save jobs or limit payments to executives or shareholders to become eligible issuers of bonds purchased by the Fed.

Yea they are more speculative in nature.
We are stuck between a rock and a hard place at the moment
Either fiat currencies continue their rally and commodities/crypto’s and the stock market itself continues to decline.
Or they ultimately agree to the stimulus, markets go to all time highs in the short term, inflation runs rampant and commodities/crypto start the next leg of an epic rally.
So either our cost of living is going to increase dramatically due to inflation or everyone’s 401K is going to take a hit to save the $USD |

Governments have been buying mortgage back securities and now own almost a majority of them. They are buying that debt in order to keep mortgage rates low. Now due to interest rates being so low people are flocking to real estate, hence why the housing market has been able to stay afloat.
We are literally living in an epic sized housing and stock market bubble.
Hence my confidence in commodities in the medium to long term as even Powell has said multiple times they are going to try their best to let inflation run rampant to inflate away all of the debt they have created.
I can’t tell you when things will happen, the markets are going to do whatever they are going to do in the short term. Best we can do is react to what happens.
