It dosen't matter what Bergevin thinks. It's what I think that matters.

Virtanen is a no go...too inconsistent..we already have Drouin...give me a break..... - Hockey Pucker

Maybe Pietrangelo will come to Montreal? If he does come and if we trade Domi + Petry + Mete to Van for Boeser + Virtanen we got a Stanley Cup contending team - habs88888
He won't be coming to Montreal and that trade proposal is an over payment. I do like the idea of acquiring Boeser though, the Brocket in Montreal sounds like a match made in heaven. Need at least 2 goal scorers added up front and at least one being a power forward. |

I can't see the Canucks moving him. Why would they? |

Virtanen is a power forward , if the change of scenery helps him. Hard to find a power forward who can score and stay healthy. We can add a pick coming back from Van to make that trade more balanced |

I think what my team needs is a bottom six grinder or two. |

I was just kidding with the grinders, just doing my best Bergevin impression. Of course a scoring winger with size is priority number 1 at the moment. It really is fun doing the arm chair GM thing during normal times, but with Covid, we truly have no clue of what different teams financial situations are, how much you could juice them because of it, effects of a flat cap for at least two years, length of contracts, frontloading and bonuses. We are fairly blind as fans during normal times, right now, because of the current situation, we are Stevie Wonder in the dark levels of blind. We truly have no clue about trade values, much more so than usual. |
