So I wasn’t the only one who missed that one then! Let me know what you think once you’ve read it - Karine Hains
Oh I will Karine! I’m a biography addict! I have over 100 biography books around music and sports! We will have to start a nerdy book club together or something because nobody loves this stuff as much as I do lol. Would be good to have some good conversation. He was my brother’s favorite player and mine was Patrick Roy. I loved him growing up. Can’t wait to read this. He’s had a rough path. |

Awesome! I’m guessing you’ve read Roy’s right? Brodeur’s is quite good as well and I’ve yet to finish Dryden’s book on Scotty Bowman...too much stuff to read lol |

Have you read the Larry Robinson one? The Great Defender I think it’s called, that’s another good one and Domi’s one is interesting as well if only to learn a bit more about diabetes and the impact it can have one someone’s life. |

Rogle BK of the SHL is trying to recruit Caufield. That would be yuge for his development and the fact an SHL team is heavily pursuing him speaks volumes.
And yes, he's way better than No Name brand Nick Robertson. |

The girlfriend was looking for English books, but there's very little in Poland...she settled for David Attenborough's, it actually looks interesting. |

My biggest issue with that is...we're often saying we want to bring over our Euro prospects so they get accustomed to the smaller NA ice, and now we have a NA prospect we are excited to ship to Europe.
Overall, I'm probably for the move, but I also think it's overrated and won't be as good for his development as we wish. |

The problem is that he doesn't want to play in the OHL, and there is a strong chance there won't be NCAA hockey this year. Add to that Bergevin being reluctant in signing him to a pro contract, there aren't a lot of options remaining. |

apparently they may allow ncaa players join the chl this year without consequence. It's the chl who is unsure |

Yeah, I read that...I mean at this point CHL teams are pretty much already made
I think as long as the NCAA doesn't make an annoucement cancelling the season, players are going to wait it out. At least they have access to facilities and can still train. |

I wouldn't mind Caufield in the SHL. It's a good league with older guys. Could give him a good experience. |

he won't go IMO, the US has it's training camp for the Juniors WC in October and the NCAA is talking about starting in December. |
