Thank god. The other one looked like an AHL/ECHL logo. Stick with the original branding and as alternate the S logo and tgats it. Just a cleaner, more professional look to it.

I been a big fan of signing Galchenyuk. Low risk-high reward (even if small chance of a really high reward)

I feel that he'll almost certainly be something in between. he's going to be 27, so he's not like Duclair, a young guy who had untapped potential that just needed to be in the right situation. also, he has had NHL success so he's not like filatov, who was great outside the NHL and a massive flop in the NHL.

I suspect that he would be a 10-12 goal, 30 pt guy.......average 4th line player.

I think you need to hope for more than those numbers if you bring him in.

You want a floor of 3rd line number minimum, otherwise theres no point.

To this point, he's also really bad defensively. Not sure what he's bringing to the bottom-six if they added him there.

They need to stop the nickle-and-dime depth forward B.S. (e.g. Namestnikov, Ennis, Anisimov, Sabourin), and focus on the most urgent need - a competent veteran RHD partner for Chabot. Losing all of DeMelo, Hainsey, Borowiecki, and Englund from an already bad d-man group over the past few months, creates a lot of holes that they're really not in a great position to fill. Are they really planning to start the season with Chabot, Zaitsev, Wolanin, Reilly, Brannstrom, and Zub? That's awful, and worse yet provides Chabot & Brannstrom with no veteran support or mentorship whatsoever.

Seriously... the trade market has guys like Ristolainen, Dumba, Hjalmarsson, Demers, and Gudbranson available... the UFA market has guys like Hamonic, Brodie, Tanev, Gudas, and Braun available. Not all great options... but significantly better than anything currently on the roster. Even bringing Hainsey back would be a positive start. But instead, what do we hear about? Galchenyuk potentially joining his 5th team in less than 3 years.

Still hate the 2D logo. it makes sense if we had won in the past and were going on nostalgia but we never won anything.

We should make a new logo, new jersey to fit a new team to rally around.

I understand nostalgia but the old team didn't win anything so it's not like we have a great history to build and look back on.

I think this is just the team undoing a mistake, and going back to a logo that should have never been changed in the first place.
