Yes, now would be a good time for them to get in the game...Tampa clearly came ready to play

TB look a bit different than when they were swept by CLB, don't think they can be shaken up like that anymore

About time, I’m knackered today so this needs to be interesting to keep me awake... Last night I was almost sleepwalking when I went to bed, I put Voltaren on my toothbrush instead of toothpaste, well done champ!

I think he says two games in one day...no way in hell that happens. I think we’re likely to see mini series though like 3 games against the same team in like 4 days. Minimize travel and cost that way would make sense
- Karine Hains

If there is a wave 2, it won't start until much later. Also we are talking about 31 teams so don't know if we will have bubble cities again

I tried to watch it years ago but i just couldn’t get into it...maybe i should give it another shot...
- Karine Hains

Same happened to me, but I tried it again a few months ago, and after the 3rd episode I was hooked. Same thing had happened with The Office in my case.

Arruda seems to think we are entering wave 2 now... I don’t think bubbles would be doable for a whole season but I can see a Canadian division and teams playing each other over and over again...

Yeah happened to me with Ozark, not a comedy at all but still I got hooked on the second attempt. The office was an instant hit for me, love that show.

enjoy these last few games, there won't be NHL hockey before April imo, and by then they'll probably decide to wait for next September

so you think they'll be no hockey at all until then..? can't they play without fans?

Hard to say I mean look at the alert levels in Qc, my area is now in Orange and yet they’ve not closed bars and restaurants just restricted the opening hours, same goes for gyms even though they had said that would shut down if we got to the orange level. They seem to be making adjustments by the minute so hard to say how they’ll want to operate in December. Another idea that was floating around was for teams to take turn going in the bubble cities, so play for like two weeks then back to family for a couple of weeks then back in.... Dunno how that could work though, going in and out would mean a lot of wasted time in quarantaine to go back in... It really is a giant headache, I’m glad the NHL is not my show to run

Bettman says that fans coming to games and spending in concessions represent 50% of the teams’ revenue so that’s a massive hit to take. That being said I do think they will start with no fans and reevaluate as they go. And I hope to god that Fido isnt right, I can’t go a whole year hockey less

if this is the begining of the 2nd wave, and it sure looks like it, imo they'll shut it down like they did back in March. no other choice. it took 4-6 months before they were able to resume. and in bubble cities!
would they start the season in March/April? doesn't make sense imo.

oh yeah, because covid only shows up later, if you leave the bar at 10 o'clock you're safe lolll

and yeah it really is a giant headache, but it's one that Buttman and owners will want to go through to have some revenue coming in

if there are no fans in the building they might be able to still play... no huge risk there if they maintain the same procedures as in these playoffs
