I'm being told there were multiple Calder ballots where Adam Fox was left off but they included Ethan Bear on it. - jimbro83
Just as an aside, as criminal as it was that Fox didn't get more love, I'm kinda glad he didn't. Especially in this market, I'd be worried about injecting too much hype in the guy even as good as he is.
I think if he has any kind of sophomore slump, it'll be easier for him to play out of it without the pressure of the hockey world saying what's wrong with Adam Fox every night.

I think they got their animals mixed up - jimbro83
Well, the fact that Fox was even that far down their ballot is more of the problem. He should've been the clear #3 with the others fighting for the last two spots. Like, if I pushed it, I could probably make a case for Bear's season being more impressive than Suzuki, Marino and guys like them. Not Fox, though.

Lol nope - MaximumBone
If there wasn't a probable log jam down the middle with Ryan Suzuki, Morgan Geekie and Jack Drury all looking like probably NHLers, (not to mention Martin Necas), I probably would have gone Zary, but the Canes have a like of right handed shots up front and Mercer looks like a real good all around fit.
Is that Spitting Chicklets?
Shocked that for such a successful, kind of long-running podcast they are all holding their mics the whole time.
Small thing, but kinda weird.
