I have heard all the reports of a bad attitude and I remember him getting cut one year for being late or something but what else? Are there stories just not out there? Do his team
Mates hate him?
I haven’t really heard anything that made me think he should be banished?

You get the feeling he’s not a team guy and his teammates don’t dig him.
When he was late to camp he had a roommate that could have woken him up and other prospects that could have realized he was with them on the way to the rink but didn’t bother. He also likes to party.
His biggest problem is himself.

That is insane. He's shown himself to be un-coachable.

I never heard this.. and I specifically asked that question to a couple of guys in Isles organization. They said it isn't anything like that.. it's just pure stupidity. He would play video games until 2 am and have trouble getting up. he would Eat McDonald's almost everyday before he got to the rink and Cairns (who was tasked with baby sitting him at one point) would go nuts on him... His Dad and his Dad's buddies would travel with him a lot. ....

They would think he finally was getting it and he would give a stupid interview where he would say something completely absurd... etc.

Whatever... Like I said.. I will hope for the kid to make it until he is gone. He was always Insanely nice to my son or any kid when He saw them at Northwell.. and he can friggin fly.

I would even throw Ladd in.

The Islanders have NEVER been close to the cap ceiling in my lifetime... ever.. never been in the top 15. Every year we have guys that worry about the cap all year long on these boards. It never has been an issue... when that actually changes I will start to be concerned. Until that time.... zzzzzz

Lets stay on topic......do you now accept the cap reality the isles face after it for so long?

The Islanders have NEVER been close to the cap ceiling in my lifetime... ever.. never been in the top 15. Every year we have guys that worry about the cap all year long on these boards. It never has been an issue... when that actually changes I will start to be concerned. Until that time.... zzzzzz

Late and totally hung over for the Islanders Golf outing as well as missing training camp, and Team bus in BP. That isn't just stupidity. It's a problem.

I don't know where you heard that his father and his fathers friends traveled with him stuff. The team travels together and Mommy and Daddy aren't allowed. If it is true why would they have too? Thats a red flag in itself. Would his Father tighten his skates too?
