Seeing Canucks did not win the cup this year has the asterisk been officially removed now from the records? |

We complain about everything Canucks. Lol
Olli wasn't the defenseman I wanted( Fabbro/ Chychrun), but I was fine with the pick.
Hopefully he can become the all-situatiins defender this team needs.
I am expecting some guys like Brisebois or Rafferty to be moved in some type of package deal. - Reubenkincade
OJ wasn't my choice either but what can we do. He is a good player but his development took so long. I hope he has a good career and I hope us fans myself included learn to be patient.
The closer we go to free agency the more I want Benning to stand on what we have . I think it is a good year to try and see what Rafferty is and put Loui in Utica.
I know some hated Sutter but he had 6 points in the playoffs and was on pace for 35 points in the regular season . I don't think they need to wrry about moving him and let Gauds develop one more year at wing.
So many things can happen who knows.

Oh yeah. He also took every chance he could to wallpaper Iggy. Great battles.

This could be the most interesting off-season ever, not only for Canucks, but the entire league. |

You know the “dead wings” era is back when
The #RedWings today signed center Sam Gagner to a one-year contract extension 850K. |

The Senators are in a position to make the Datsyuk-Pronger-Hossa LTIR era Coyotes look like amateurs. This is very exciting. Ottawa's gonna have more dead contracts than John Wick.

Canucks have drafted a Dman before the fourth round and a goalie at least every three years every year except last since Benning has been here
2014 Demko second rd
Tryamkin third rd
2015 Briesbois third rd
2016 Juolevi first rd
2017 Dipietro third rd
Rathbone fourth rd
2018 Hughes first rd
Woo second rd
Theissen 7 th rd
2019 Silvos 6 th rd - VANTEL
Still means that zero dman drafted last year and we on this board including you have been saying they need to improve the d from before that.

Jim Benning sucks goat balls, other than getting lucky (with the help of Judd Brackett) drafting Boeser, Pettersson and Hughes all he’s done is make mistake after mistake.....his one good trade, in its totality, is the JT Miller one.
You’re welcome |

Last year is the first time he did not take a D in the first 4 rounds .
Also just because we say it doesn't mean they are. We always toss scenarios about what will happen when Benning has come out and said we have some good D prospects. It is very possible that they removed Stechers name and have slotted in Chatfield who Jim has praised many times.
EDIT:
Also last year I was one of the very few people saying months before the draft to select Broberg or Seider only to be shot down by lets say everyone who are now saying we don't have a D. I was repeatedly told Seider and Broberg are not top 10 selections |

We need them to occasionally cause leaf fan mental anguish. Nothing more satisfying then listening to leaf fan trying to justify another Leaf loss to a poopy Sens team. |

Just think of the shame though if they lose to the Sens and top line center is Chris Tierny .
It would be like losing to that emergency back up goalie all over again
