I’m with you there, when I first got to England and started following premiership football, I was amazed that the main logo on the players’ top is the sponsor’s and that the team logo is actually just a small design in the corner...made no sense to me whatsoever

Well, I got there in 2002 and I can assure you there wasn’t much coverage of the NHL over there so I had to find something to make up for it. I mean there was the “British Elite Ice-Hockey League” but their elite are ou rejects...I think I went to like 3 games in 8 years lol. So it was between football or cricket...not much of a choice really

Well, a lot of players are goons from north america not talented enough to make it here so...

The times I went with my friend (who was also from Québec) we had a lot of fun picking on the goalie who was french canadian, we used to yell at him in French and he’d look around as if he was hearing voices, couldn’t believe what he was hearing: Tabarnak Côté tu sais pas goaler?!?! That was the funnest thing about the games lol
