The money would be close to even as Ehlers makes $6M and the combination of Montour and Kahun will be close to the same.

Honestly I’ve seen so many trades speculated between these two teams and I’ve never seen one that both teams were happy about.

I don’t want to trade Ehlers!!! He is awesome and severely underrated. He has led the Jets in points/goals/and assists Per Minute Played almost three straight years. And that’s with next to no power play time. Plus rarely ever playing with Shiefele!! Maurice doesn’t play him enough and always relies on him to carry lesser players.

I value Ehlers more than Laine and Connor.

So I won’t even suggest a trade for him cause you’ll hate it.

Plus it’s been three years of ristolainen to winnipeg rumours, please no more. I know he needs a fresh start somewhere else but we really need a top pair right D and we both know he is not that.

It's ok Laine will be traded anyway, not Ehlers.

I also forgot to mention, Ehlers contract is awesome!! I’d never move him especially considering his contract!!

Now Laine will score 40-50 goals/year on Eichel’s wing. That’s 20-30 more goals peR year than say Reinhardt is doing now. Thats huge!! That wins a lot of games!!
Laine’s 200’ foot game took huge strides this year and will continue to.
If you are going to pay up for someone that is a franchise difference maker, make it Laine.

But again, that can’t ristolainen and spare parts

These playoffs and the tournament have been "cant miss tv" for me.

I could see why thatguy doesnt value toughness, the playoffs are all about toughness.

The 2 teams playing tonight have both had 2 x the average amount of regular season hits vs. Stanley cup hits. Great intensity, tampa isnt hateable, and dallas is. 🙂
