just read an article that says the opposite, both sides want an agreement and he loves it in CBJ and his teammates...has told his player friends he wants to return.
contract dispute was bitter though last time, so if it happens again, he could become frustrated and become more likely to go

I had really high (not elite) hopes for Ullmark to be a good nhl goalie. That’s dwindling away.

What gets me is his technique or lack there of when poop hits the fan. How many times was he super awkwardly out of place and an easy tap in from the other team

You can blame the defense. I get that. But the times of thinking of. He was so out of place that he couldn’t recover. He’s 6’5 ... that shouldn’t happen. Don’t play small.

(This is based on going to Sabres games with ex college goalies brothers)

Cozens has something that Casey never did in Staal. Staal is a pros pro, he'll be teaching those two a lot, as well as Eichel on how to lead. I don't think someone else coming in for next year is off the table, but the plan should be to have Staal hold down 2C until Cozens proves it is his.
