Yes, and the Bills have a kick a$$ defence.

Josh Allen today went out and won a football game. He put the team on his back and led them which is extremely encouraging.

Something Tebow never did either.

If Josh Allen keeps this up he will be proving a lot of doubters wrong, it’s not like I’m alone on this ship.

HAD...

It has been anything but kick a$$ this season so far

allen has flaws but somehow he's managed to keep winning games...not all, mind you, but his record as the bills quarterback speaks for itself right now...

at least in the regular season

Well, it was like 240, with Thomas running the other 70 yards.

Here's also one thing we're forgetting. Look at the other QB's drafted in the top of that first round. Darnold is a trash fire, Rosen isn't even in the league I don't think, Mayfield is solid if unspectacular, really doesn't seem to be progressing like he should. I HATED the Allen pick. I was wrong. It's ok to admit you were wrong. No one will think any less of you.

- Wetbandit1

Allen is definitely proving me wrong in the sense that 26 starts is still not a sufficient sample size to make a conclusion of a players ceiling

It was unfair of me to put a cap on his potential and I was wrong to suggest that he couldn’t become more then an average starting QB

At the least it was illegal contact and an automatic first. He was 8 yards off the line of scrimmage and there was way too much contact
- Stripes77

Exactly, you could tell Allen was throwing to a spot, and Davis wasn't able to get there because of the contact.

Do they just purposely put poop games there for some reason? What are the average ratings for those games? It's the only game on, so I'd think they'd be pretty good.
- Wetbandit1

getting the crap teams and games out of the way early so they'll be noticed less

I agree on the illegal contact as there was contact there that impeded the route however Davis did initiate the contact as well.

There was a healthy battle on both ends there.

Allen is the first QB in NFL history with at least 10 passing TDs and 2 rushing TDs in the first 3 games of a season

And the pass to Kroft wasn't an interception.

Even-up call.

He is still like a teenager on his first date, gets to excited and it affects his decisions sometimes, but you can see the game is starting to slow down for him, cause he's more relaxed and not blowing his load as guickly

It’s a long season.

However yes he does look a heck of a lot more like Cam Newton at this point since he has made marketable improvements in his accuracy with the football.

Maybe the Big Ben comparison may apply at this point although Josh is more fleet of foot

- Pegullaville

So I am a Panthers fan in addition to a Bills fan (Born in NC, went to college there, and my dad still lives there; but I grew up in Buffalo from 1st grade through HS). I'm also very familiar with the Steelers because one of my best friends is from Pittsburgh.

Assuming he isn't a fluke, I think Allen mostly looks like a mix of Cam and Ben. He's a better passer and lesser runner than Cam. He's a better runner and (so far in his career) a lesser passer than Ben. His escapability is very Ben-like, though, and his ability to destroy defenders while running is very Cam-like.

Also, Allen's ability to win/tie games in 4Q and OT is really impressive.

I like both of those comparisons.

Big Ben though not exactly a cordell Stewart type guy.

Size, early leadership- good call

At the moment Josh is looking like the guy in high school that went to prom without a date because he was nerdy and creepy looking whom everyone wrote off.

Now he’s the guy with the smoking hot girlfriend and the solid career that everyone looks at and says wow look how he turned out. (As long as the Josh from the past 3 games is the one that is here to stay)

I would love to take a beat down in regards to sam reinhart being as great as a few posters think.

Hope he fulfills that #2 overall potential and starts putting up 35 Goals 75 points a season. Hopefully more.

Ryan Tannehill has also turned out to be a pretty good QB in the NFL after several years in the league so taking that into account it definitely takes different time frames for it to click for a player.
