True story. The first game vs a decent qb the eagles. We got crushed. (Eagles were decent last year)

It makes me want to throw up just typing this but the Raiders just beat the Saints at home so I wouldn’t necessarily assume that’s a win yet either.

Well Oliver really isn't that type of DT, more of a speed guy, plus think he's playing on a bad leg right know. That's a good ?, don't know when the deadline is.

1. he had crap wr's in college and the tape was based when wyoming was playing better teams in better conferences


2, he had the worst group of wr's I have ever seen on the bills his rookie season

I mean foster and zay jones, where are they now?


3. you saw him keeping drives alive and moved down the field so many times last year, only to go backwards at the end because of the holding penalty or a sack where he had bledsoe time (drew's last season here when o line sucked and he got sacked too much)

So I know, way late, but I watched a scouting video on Allen and it said he was the only rookie to hit a cross bar at 35 yards away in that (pre draft) class. I think he had the skills, just not the footwork, timings, the right coaches around him to slow learn it. They let him do some things his way and changed somethings each year. Normally in the NFL if you are not winning into your 3rd year, look out. But Josh had been winning in the past (even with so/so stats). That gave them the patience / time internally and with fans. Like it has been said, this is just starting to come together for him, for the first time ever! Look out. Some of the passes he is throwing, in years past would have made fans mad, but when they are completed due to timing route / placement, I just laugh. Dude is just figuring out how to be a passer, at the highest level, the NFL. It should be a fun 15 or so years. Hope he can keep growing and improving, but please fix the D, I won’t live through too many more of those weeks! Lol

Allen has looked great to me from the moment they called his name. It's gotten better and better.

He has been fun to watch, and his game has improved rather remarkably since he started, no doubt. His 4th Qtr comebacks are becoming legend. And moreso, he leads and motivates others to play their best...which is huge!
But great from the start, nope.
And if he didn't poop the bed earlier in many of those games. The 4th Qtr heroics wouldn't be needed.
Still, I'll take him and enjoy the ride.
