Given everything that has transpired, I also believe that Jack wants to see pointed action to improve . Lose the deadwood, the floaters, the soft hearted and mental midgets.
It will take more than 1 offseason to get the ship firmly back on course...but stay the course.

Many of us read the whole thing and the words of his agent are like the words of a politician at a news conference mostly BS. You can't take them as the whole truth but PR and what they want out and for people like you to believe for now.

Who told Bob that Jack RECENTLY requested a trade? It wasn't a fan on hockeybuzz to have him take time off of his semi-retirement and summer vacation to call his agent. Bob doesn't mention frivolous rumours or make them up. I think there is something here.

Just an interesting look at some offers that are being reported. I thought Krug would be an idea as a 2 LD ufa. Not sure he fits the budget at $6.5 or more. Not with Joker, Dahlin and needing a 1RD to pair with Dahlin.

So, the face-value review appears as follows: Eichel doesn’t want out of BUF; BUF doesn’t want to trade Eichel; move along, nothing to see here. Fair enough. But some rumours are worth checking out/mentioning. Which I’ve now done. Now back to draft prep.

Eehhh... fun rumors and of course gm’s are gonna call. I think jack has one more year before it goes nuclear. And hopefully Adams has some more staal like trades in him to better this roster... about 12 days until we have a real idea of Adams metal...

In all seriousness, Bruins would have to do something like Jack Studnicka, Brandon Carlo, Krejci & a 1st round pick to even get to the table for Jack Eichel. There are other teams outside the Atlantic Division that could offer significantly better packages. Pipe dream for B's
