I am enjoying the ride
That doesn’t mean i can’t point out that Allen looked confused in the 2nd half & didn’t play well

Yes it does, he is God right know.

Makar has a better team around him, I want to see Dahlin with a better partner and team around him, then I will make a decision.

Yes, Colorado is well beyond buffalo in terms of being a good team.

Individually he looks awesome. Could be the system/ teammates, and his advanced age ( lol 23)

1.5 is covid pricing for boro.

That second line really looks good on paper.

Stahl is what the Sabres have needed for years.
Hope he stays healthy

While I highly doubt the Miller for Copp trade, I'd love it.

Very well done overall.

I'd invest an additional $2M on Jon Merrill. He'd provide quality LHD play. He's very underrated and a quality defensive defenseman.

I Don’t mind this lineup. Joker / Dahlin scares me a little. But keeping Risto forces that one. I’d like to see something different there, but we won’t. Hopefully Hutton gets them fancy prescription sports goggles.

But it’s a solid “lean” roster.

I give Corey Perry an 8.5 on the spin and a 9.5 on the landing.

Dahlin came in 2nd all time for point totals for a teenage defensemen...beating Bobby freaking orr in points for a teenager.

Fellow Swede like Erik karolsson and victor hedman even said dahlin is high years ahead of both of them at the same age.

NHL defensemen normally don’t come into the league at 18. Normally it’s 21-23 when they settle into the nhl

Stop spreading fake news and trolling people.

Not many step into the NHL as an 18 yr old defenseman. Ekblad did, and won the Calder, but he also had Campbell as his partner to start. After Campbell left, there was a period of time where Ekblad all of a sudden didn’t look nearly as good. Dahlin didn’t have a safety blanket like that as a rookie. Dahlin is still way ahead just being in the nhl as a teenaged defenseman. Offensive numbers would be the least of my concerns now, let him focus on being a solid NHL defender first. The offense will come along.

Maybe KA can talk Kim into spending more since they already gave Jack the big bonus and he'll be making "only" $2.5 during the actual season! 😂

I would sign Merrill over Borowiecki and not think twice about it.

He's much better defensively.

My FA defense targets are below:

I'm torn on Mikheyev, as I like the player, but think that offer sheet is high for what he's done in all of 40 games in his first season, but that's also likely the only way Toronto doesn't match.

That's a well thought out roster.

I still think slightly above average goaltending would have got us another half dozen points.

Hutton lost us games in stretches.

It's going to be interesting to see what DeMelo signs for with all the factors (many teams seem to like him, COVID, not much money being out there), but the Evolving Hockey predictions are very often on the money.

DeMelo at $3M per for 3 years? Absolutely.

Antti Rantta? He's got one year left on his deal with a cap hit of $4.25M, but his actual salary is only $2M due to Arizona having paid his $2M bonus already.

Trade for Rantta and then send Hutton somewhere for future considerations.
