Friedman : Anaheim is not opposed to moving down a few spots in the First Round.

We don't need Henrique any more, though.

Who else do we like from them?

Risto and 8
Henrique and 6

DO IT

- SDSabre

Why?

Do we need Henrique and his 4 year cap hit at this point?

If we're talking no bubble, I would think that playing games in Canada poses a bigger obstacle than in New York State.

With hockey's success tied to gate revenue, I think NY teams should be a little worried. Kerry and tim should be worried. Terrible team , fans jumping off ship and now a pandemic.

Not trying to be political, but seems like NY is really shooting down any hope of the nfl. Nhl being indoors....

Maybe the Sabres play in a different state?

Sure it does.. Unless you think Staal has more than 1/2 years left. Sure, the cost may be high for a 3C when the time comes, but he'll more than hold his own for the duration of the contract, and it provides a longer then Staal term safety net if Cozens doesn't pan out.

Clifford was mine but I heard Lewis.
- SABRES 89

If you heard that chatter. I am assuming there are no guarantees Larson or Girgs are back?

Not that I 100% want them back. But the LOG line was good

Sure, but it's a slow Wed, and he made the news. We have a hole that he fits at this stage, so why not talk about it.
- SDSabre

Definitely, I'm not trying to kill the discussion.

Just a few thoughts.

I think the Sabres make a huge trade at the draft.
They need to pump some air into the fans, especially with the Bill's doing well.

I agree as well, 3 solid centers are a good thing. Cozens isn't forced in and you can always deal Henrique in a couple years.

I would guess it depends on money, seems a few other teams are thinking this way also.

I would also take king Henrik for 1 yr 2-3 mill at most. See what he’s got left in the tank

He can’t be worse than Hutton or ullmark

Yeah someone brought that up a few weeks ago. I don’t think we can pay Larry Girgs and okposo 14 mill for 4th line duties

Which I never thought about until someone brought it up

I’d move up to 6.

That guarantees us one of Rossi, Raymond, Perfetti

There's no way Larry and fall down Larry make 8M combined on their next deals.

The deal isn't perfect.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating the deal, per se, i just wish AH's term was for half that. But then Anaheim probably doesn't make the deal.

I get what you're saying about Cozens.

It was an interesting deal a month ago and still is, because of pick 6. The possibilities.

He sure as hell can. And was, last year. And the year before.

Ullmark was very, very good 5v5 last year. Clean up the atrocious PK, and he's a good goalie.
