That's why it might be a good time (obviously there is never a great time) to trade eichel.

If, they have no home games / fans to worry about.

I would be extremely disappointed as a season ticket holder if they traded him. Jack's the show. Chasing 50 goals/100 points would be entertaining.

If they rebuild (again) they are gonna get crushed, but maybe have a year more for dahlin to become "the man"

I don’t disagree.

Any team that trades the best player will ultimately be in tough.

All I’m saying is that #1C’s don’t come available too often and we may not get market value for him but it’s not like we won’t get some good pieces back.

Let’s just hope it doesn’t get to that point.

Let’s move Montour/Risto +++ and sign the right free agents and make the playoffs next year so we can keep Captain Jack

I'm right there with you.

They want one of the top 5 centers in the game, they're going to pay. Because the damage that might be done with regards to this fanbase might, MIGHT be something that takes years to recover from.

But a return like that could also set this franchise up for years to come, too. But many fans wouldn't initially see that.
