I mean, does it matter? Guentz, Ehlers Zucker would be your top LW's, both wings on the third line as of now suck so that would put a good one on the third line with McCann at center. But Ehlers ain't coming here anyways haha. - 668710
The Pens aren't as rich at LW as they were considering, like you said, McCann will probably play center. Simon is likely not retained. Tanev is playing RW on the 4th. Marleau is gone. |

Probably not if Kap can play the left half-wall on the PP, although it's less than ideal to have so few RH shots on the team.
I like the idea of adding Copp which would be much more realistic. |

Our PP before Kessel was very good, under Reirdon which Sid said he loves the way he ran the PP. So hopefully it's a bit better next year under Reirdon again.
Copp 3c? |

Yea we would be just fine at LW if we acquire a center and McCann moves to LW, but as of now it's not that way. |

It will be interesting to see what they do. Unless they move at least some of JJ's salary off the books they're going to have very little money to fill out the lineup. I know they want to get younger, but IMO if they can grab Kovy and Ryan for what they have left I'd take the gamble.

Sure. Both Copp and McCann play C and LW so we could try them both out at each position and see what works best. |

I would take one of them, not both. I'm sure that's what you meant anyways haha. I'd rather have Ryan I think.

No, I meant both IF THEY CAN lol. If they don't move Johnson they will have a hair over $2.3M to fill out the lineup and that's with Jarry signing at $3.75M which might wind up being closer to $4 from what either Rossi or Yohe reported not too long ago.
Adding Scevior to the trade really effed things up good. |

The celebration is gonna be weird tonight. Think they will use a fake crowd audio track during that as well? |

It's going to be one sad celebration not to mention no parade. At least not for a while.

Won't be sad for the Bolts players haha but it will be another, in a long list of them, reminder to the viewer just how fd up the times we're currently living in are. |

Oh damn, both haha. I didn't pay attention to Kovy and Caps. Did he look good? Was wondering if he was shot. Yea didn't like the addition of him either. |

I mean, I wouldn't expect much in the way of a two-way game, but he's still making stuff happen offensively. |

Like a Poulin-McCann-Kovy third line then put Kovy on the top PP. Not bad |

Kovy typically plays LW despite being a righty.

Not to nitpick, but if Poulin is going to make the squad, I'd definitely keep him in his natural position until he settles in, but Im personally not ready to pencil him in yet.

Anyways, I don't see the Pens going after Kovy or Ryan if Ruth says they are going younger. I think he really is gonna give Poulin a real chance, since he did say it haha |
