Guys, quit freaking out over 4th liners. There are more moves coming. Sad to see Staal go to Detroit as I thought there was a good chance JJ would end up there. - MacPatty
Told you guys it wasn’t happening. JJ is bad and isn’t going anywhere unless they decide to bury him or buy him out |

I think if they retain 50% they can move him.

This team has serious cap issues, so every million counts. Taking on an unnecessary contract in addition an already bad contract on top of that has real implications.
EDIT: Technically both are unnecessary contracts, but you know what I mean - Rinosaur
They also have cash issues and apparently have an internal salary cap of $75m |

Can’t argue with that lol what a group!
But as I mentioned before: we didn’t need Sceviour on this deal. This might have been a coaches request don’t you think? I was positive Lafferty and Miletic would get a chance to be on the 14 forwards spot. - Barnaby36
Not gonna lie, I wonder how much input Sully really has on the roster. |

I really don’t think that’s the case. Nothing we’ve done or Rutherford has said suggests we’re trying to reduce payroll. If anything it’s the opposite. |

Do they really have to play that stupid greatest show song? What an awful movie that was. |

If you’re talking about The Greatest Showman my wife loves that movie haha. I enjoy musicals and thought it was fun, but don’t really feel the need to watch it again. |

I kind of wish they stick to the internal cap just to prevent more stupidity. |

I guess we will see with the rest of the off-season but that’s the impression I’ve gotten from rumors out in the internet’s. |

Yes, Greatest Showman. I can't stand musicals, but my ex's kid loves that movie, so it was always on. That song haunted me.
Although I did go see Evil Dead The Musical years and years ago. That was (frank)ing great.

They aren't buying anyone out, but they retained on Bjugstad, so they've shown they're open to it. Obviously that's just for one year and JJ would be for three years, but hey, it's something. |

JR put it out there that they might stray to a lower internal cap but a few days later said he can spend to the cap if he wants to. |

I watched the trailer and I’m fully expecting it to be my favorite.
Speaking of Bruce Campbell, anyone ever see Bubba Hotep? |
