You said Kahun possibility asking for a trade was EK rumor stuff without any facts. I just pointed out him saying he wasn’t thrilled with the system. Not saying he wasn’t blindsided by the trade. Saying he hates the system so bad he wishes he was traded, then getting traded would/could still be a huge surprise.(not saying he said that happened. Given all that, I am baffled that in all your years of watching my hockey, you haven’t caught onto the fact that coaches make atrocious decisions and play bad defenders on the PK all the time. Just on the Penguins I can point to Johnson, late stage Scuderi, Brandon Sutter, Tanner Glass and more.

But as I mentioned before: we didn’t need Sceviour on this deal. This might have been a coaches request don’t you think? I was positive Lafferty and Miletic would get a chance to be on the 14 forwards spot.

This team has serious cap issues, so every million counts. Taking on an unnecessary contract in addition an already bad contract on top of that has real implications.

EDIT: Technically both are unnecessary contracts, but you know what I mean
