So the answer including this season is Tampa Bay. This is there 4th time and will be first time winning it, if they do.
Imagine if they were actually good at drafting. They might have more than a possible 1 this season. - manvanfan
How’s the kids doing by the way? Girls adapting to Covid life? Wife busy being a nurse? |

What exactly did you win by picking a random year and random playoff round about a team that hasn't won a cup that was handed out 9 times since then? |

They’re just at the beginning of their window, could be two or three before they’re done. |

My wife isn't any busier then she normally would be. She's a physic nurse. She will be definitely busier in the years to come.
I think if you ask any parent with a school age child how their children are dealing with covid will tell you their children are struggling. |

I'd compare Stall to Sutter for us. - dbot
Pretty much. I would keep the second round pick for a good trade or the actual prospect . I would not use it as a sweetner

Ya, not good, life is hard right now. Kids are so adaptable though. Doesn’t make it easier, they’re just more willing or able to accept change. |

Yeah I don't think the Canucks need to be sending out sweetners as they got other options to make it work for them. |

Certain things they are happy to do, wear masks and sanitize. Other things like Halloween was just cancelled. Dance was supposed to start in a week. Now it's going to be pushed back again. Winnipeg and Area are going "level orange" on Monday. No gatherings over 10 and masks in all public places, limiting travel and such. Lasting 4 weeks.
My oldest's 10th birthday was last week and she was supposed to have a slumber party with 3 friends tonight.
1 goes to a school in WPG that had covid cases, so she was cancelled early in the week.
1 friend from dance, her Dad was at a place that had a covid case. (Home depot) Precautions.
The 3rd friend her Mom cancelled last minute because of level orange this coming Monday.
It was a rough day for her.
These are the things that get children her age most excited. |

The team likes Sutter . Bo likes him and he will probably be on IR most of they year and be healthy for a playoff run. |

Sabres could use Virtanen's size. What about RD Montour from the Sabres for VirTanen. You might even be able to add Baertschi into the deal to reunite him with Krueger. - G - Man
Problem is he doesn't use his size. |

Or wouldn't be surprised they find someone at TDL that want him and this time Canucks say yes to make room for Podz on the roster for that run. |

Probably. Speaking of drafting the Devils want to give up a 1st rounder for a under 26 player. Does JB try to sell JV to them? On paper he's got what they are looking for though there will be other teams trying to send RFA's their way.

Do you look yourself in the mirror every morning and just say to yourself "I'm going to believe my own bullpoop"
There's talking out your ass again.
There's only two players since 2014 that are actually contributing to the Lightning that have been drafted by them. Cirelli and Point.
Taken them 12 years since getting a 1st overall pick to win a Stanley Cup.
Tampa Bay has been extremely lucky. - manvanfan
Drafting is important but only a small part of the overall picture. Wasn't it Lefty that tried to convince us all the the '89 Flames won their cup based off drafting and it turned out that only a handful of players were actually drafted by that franchise??
Lots off things go into making a consistent, championship contender. |
