I heard NYR and LA are about to announce a huge deal. They didn't want to distract from Tampa-Dallas so it's on hold. Georgiev and Anderson are involved. Doughty the key piece going to NYR. But the wild speculation is a pick swap on the table. Maybe LA gets Lafreniere and NYR solves their woes at center with Byfield. All over the late night shows in LA tonight.

Yep, LA gets the 22nd pick and retains 50% of Doughty's contract.
This opens up the possibility of keeping Fast, which would be nice. Also I think means we will most likely be seeing Miller on the roster. - aecliptic
Whenever there is a trade with little to no return I always think of this:
Kris Draper laughs about it now, but there was something surreal about his involvement in a transaction dated June 30, 1993, when the original Winnipeg Jets traded him to the Detroit Red Wings -- for $1.

When MLB player Jose Uribe Gonzales was traded to the SF Giants, he changed his name to Jose Uribe because, he said, "They're are too many Gonzaleses in baseball." He was thereafter referred to by one of his coaches as the "player to be named later."

Agreed. It has forever endeared him to me. For as great a player as Crosby has been, he’s kinda wrecked it with his whining, preferential treatment and dirty play, the latter being some of the sneakiest I’ve ever seen. He earned those licks. Fare the well, Staaly.

I think we have to give credit to Tortorella for how our guys played, he really got the best out of everyone, even if they hated him.
