Also think other teams that need goaltending might be able to offer more and don't want to get in a bidding war. If hawks can get him for 2021 2nd and 2020 5th and seeler i do that trade otherwise pass. Hawks are rebuilding and need as many young assets. Plus i would not give up 17th pick imo. - Scott1977
Phoenix can ask for a #1, but I do not see them getting one. Way things are going, Lehner as a free agent is not going to get much more ($5 mil.)

Agreed I don't see Kuemper bringing much back. Lard Ass is only getting offered $5 at least that's the rumor which should also tell Crow something. - rpeters01

You are offering a 2021 second round and that is what their new GM does not want to settle upon. On the other hand, I really do not think we surrender both a top prospect and the #1. Perhaps a #2 and Beaudin? We do have many toted dmen prospects. Not a seller's market to ship off a descent goaltender. |

Help VGK cap problem. Fleury 3.5M retained and one of their top prospects for the future considerations the Hawks obtained from Vegas a few years ago |

I really didn’t think TB was that good. That entire team knows what to do with and without the puck. |

Stars again - can’t clear, can’t clear, can’t clear, finally get it out - time for a change.
No transition, no offensive zone time, no pressure on Vasilevsky.
In 32 minutes of 5x5 time - Dallas with 14 SAT, 4 SOG. |

If it's not a seller's market, the seller (Arizona) shouldn't be expecting a great return.

Yes - a fundamentally sound, disciplined, well-coached team - with talent and a terrific goaltender.
Stars did well to win 2 and get another to OT. |

That 2nd TB goal was big. Is the Cup in the house? |

Vegas would just buy out Fleury, the cap hit with 50% retained would be the same

Beaudin and a #2 is fair. Have to give up something. Arizona might wait a bit but not likely to receive better. I cannot think of any team needing a goaltender badly. |

Sure I rather keep Beaudun over them Nobody wants Gilbert unless he is dirt cheap and no team is enamored to the point of taking Rogula in this sort of deal. Rogula is one to keep an eye on. Remember dmen need to transition to the men's NHL which is physical and skill change compared to where Rogula was. He needs to be stronger, tougher in the NHL. See him score like tha in the AHL. How much does he become willing to use his size defending and scoring as a pro |

It’s like every player on the ice for TBL is better than - has more energy than - his counterpart on Dallas. |

Keumper is at $4.5 each to two more years.
Presumably, they could get Crawford for $4 or $4.5 per for two years without giving up an asset.
I’m not sure why getting Kuemper is getting so much play. |

Ok so Vegas cap hit if Fleury is bought out over the next 4 years is 2.5, 3, 2, 2M. Or in a trade they retain 2 years at 3 5M. Yes, similar the first 2 years, but that additional hit in years 3 and 4.
Here's another proposal. Hawks take on the whole 7M, get another prospect or pick and give back Shaw and his 3.9M so Vegas can do some LTIR maneuvering.

Yeah, this game has been a disappointment so far - I expected a better effort from DAL. |

All of Dallas’ big defensemen are always chasing. They never have the time or space to actually attack. |

Imo i think a lot of thr dallas players are playing with serious injuries or not and Tampa is playing that good. |

And all those teams won't give up any draft picks, salary or young prospects, except for maybe Calgary |

Carolina, Edmonton, Calgary all seeking an upgrade in goal. San Jose and Minnesota disenchanted with Jones and Dubnyk respectively. Even Dallas if Khudobin walks as an UFA and then they have to rely on injury prone Bishop.

Anyone paying anything close to that for Kuemper is out of their gotdam mind. Even a 2nd for him is an overpay. guy has played more than 30 games in a season twice. |
