I really hope Bowman passes on Kuemper. We need to keep our young assets, not trade them for an oft-injured goalie. I would rather get a cheaper UFA, or even see what we have in house. Subban has played well in the past when he was given several starts in a short period, and he was a first round pick. Maybe start this year (where they're a playoff bubble team at best), with a cheap tandem of Subban and either Delia or Lankinen, and try to trade for a number one at the TDL in the team is doing well.

Should Kuemper come to Chicago, is it reasonable expectation that he would perform as well as an uninjured Crawford would have?

Wow...that goal Point just scored in tonight’s game 6 of the SCF broke a 0-0 tie and looked almost identical to the GWG Keith scored in game 6 of the 2015 SCF against these very Lightning(that also broke a 0-0 tie).

Lightning strikes first
But Dallas has scored to tie and in OT so darn often this playoffs meaning it is not over until the fat lady sings!

Wonder what Stan has up his sleeve for Tuesday? Maybe Tomas Jurco or Marco Dano will be back in the fold soon.

He better perform better given the fact he's making 1M more than what's been offered to Crawford plus the fact that a high pick and/or a prospect (which the Hawks can't afford to give up BTW) will be ARIs asking price.

Still early in the game. But in any game it's better to be ahead then behind.

The 17th plus Beaudin?
If Carlsson then no deal!
Not happy loosing Beaudin. I would try to give a different prospect. Even Kyrz. Beaudin could become a solid second pair. I do not know that Kyrz would reach that level, although I can see how fans could really grow to like Kyrz if he continues to progress.

Arizona doesn't want salary back. I think they want to go young. Yes they can buy Maatta out but then they traded Kuemper for nothing.

That's too bad, if no one is willing to give you a draft pick and you want to shed salary, take it or leave it. Bowman is in a position of power.

If that's close to the asking price for Kuemper I'll pass.

I don't think Stan plays hardball with Crawford and then rolls over for Kuemper? That's just stupid. The Yotes may want a lot for him but in the end, they need to get rid of him more than somebody needs to get him. Wait and see.

Carpenter is only a million bucks plus a prospect like Gilbert level. May need to find a home for him?

Phoenix might wait before pulling the trigger. Whom else really needs a goaltender. I might give up a lesser prospect and the first if I thought Kuemper was really that good. He is a top goaltender but not among the very best. Age 30ish but I also do not think we find a good goalie from the draft or afford one later via free agency or trade. So now we get to the point, if we sign a descent but not anything special goaltender sometime in the next couple years, is this analogous to an Osgood storyline. Osgood type vs Kuemper. Which way you lean?

Also think other teams that need goaltending might be able to offer more and don't want to get in a bidding war. If hawks can get him for 2021 2nd and 2020 5th and seeler i do that trade otherwise pass. Hawks are rebuilding and need as many young assets. Plus i would not give up 17th pick imo.

Agreed I don't see Kuemper bringing much back. Lard Ass is only getting offered $5 at least that's the rumor which should also tell Crow something.
